Jathara Parivartanasana aka: reclining spinal twist


Exercise: Lay on your back with your legs extended- Sweep arms out to both sides with palms facing up. Draw your knees to your chest then gently twist them to one side. Press shoulders to the floor and turn your head the opposite direction.

Physical Benefit: Stretches the spine and shoulders.

Mental Benefit: Reduces stress.
